It has been a couple of long days.

Just a few days before a new release, Amazon shut down our account. It is also currently withholding a modest, ~ $300 in royalties.

But the books are not going anywhere.

We’re working with a new printing and fulfillment partner, and print copies are available! Issue Two print and e-book is NOT delayed. Most importantly, all Crooked Spine works will still be available to readers worldwide. This changes the storefront… not our reach.

You can buy directly from the press. Issue One is available now as an EPUB and Print! delivered as a private download immediately after a secure and familiar checkout.

The last few days have also taught us more than we ever expected to learn about custom storefronts, secure payment and fulfillment software, American tax collection and registration, and digital delivery. If another independent publisher is facing the same problems, please reach out. We’re happy to share what we learned and help make the process a little less nightmarish.
