Thank You

This marks the end of the reading window for the first issue of Crooked Spine. We have read over 600 short stories and poems.

We want to express a heartfelt thank you to all of you who shared your work with us. To feel connected to so many people and unique voices is truly a humbling, human, and beautiful thing. Thank you all so much.

We still have a few last-minute stories to read, and a few that we have been debating internally. If you do not hear by this coming Monday, please inquire.

Please note that any purchase of the first issue (available June 30th) goes directly back into the company for paying our artists more. Crooked Spine is a labor of love, with the goal of creating a publication we wish existed. We hope you will support us so that we may continue to support you.

This reading window closes, and today around 3 PM EST, the reading window for our next themed issue, "Wet Country," opens. You can find it at submissions.
